Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) has scheduled a hearing titled “Investigating Pandemic Immunity: Acquired, Therapeutic or Both” to examine the role Covid-19 vaccinations and naturally acquired immunity played in public health discussions and final government policies.
Global vaccination research and available coronavirus studies from experts around the world have proven that antibodies acquired through previous infection provided robust immunity against Covid-19 reinfection. This is contrary to widespread public health guidance and advice at the time.
The hearing seeks to explore the effect of the federal government’s Covid-19 vaccine policy decisions and wide-sweeping vaccine mandates.
Removing physicians from the Covid-19 vaccine conversation was a mistake. Americans needed to be educated by doctors who were treating Covid patients, not indoctrinated by politicians. Instead of following the science, our public health authority ignored naturally acquired immunity and forced Americans to get vaccinated without considering previous infection. We knew that infection from coronaviruses — including SARS and MERS — confers robust natural immunity. Why were the facts ignored? The Select Subcommittee looks forward to learning more about this important topic from our expert witnesses next week.”
