(POLL) Majority supports Supreme Court student loan decision

Most voters approve of the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that declared President Joe Biden’s student loan debt cancellation unconstitutional.

That’s according to the latest Rasmussen Reports.

The survey found that 63% of likely U.S. voters approve of the court’s decision that struck down Biden’s program to cancel billions of dollars in student loan debt, including 49% who “strongly approved.”

Thirty-one percent (31%) disapproved of the Supreme Court student loan ruling, including 20% who “strongly disapproved.”

In its 6-3 decision in the case of Biden v. Nebraska, the court ruled that Biden’s plan to wipe away $430 billion in student loan debt exceeded his authority as president under the Constitution.

Eighty-one percent (81%) of Republicans, 46% of Democrats and 64% of voters not affiliated with either major party at least somewhat approve of the Supreme Court’s decision.
