While we’re busy sending billions of dollars in military assistance and cash aid to Israel and Ukraine at US taxpayer expense, we’re suffering our own unprecedented crisis at home.
Never in the 50 years of America’s all-volunteer military have our armed forces branches missed recruiting goals–until now.
Sunday on Full Measure we’ll look at why a career in the military is proving to be such a hard sell among today’s youth. We’ll also examine the strategies the Pentagon is using to entice people to serve, from new ad campaigns to using an active duty drag queen to promote military service.
Also, war in the Mideast means rising oil and gas prices. How high will they go? Scott Thuman looks for answers.
And amid the Biden administration’s reversal on a border wall to stem illegal immigration, we’ll revisit the story I reported along the US Southern Border when President Biden stopped construction overnight, leaving gaping holes in the fence and in our national security.
See you Sunday!

You may want to fact check that statement that the US military has never failed to meet recruiting goals in 50 years of the all volunteer military. I recalled several years certain branches failed to meet their goals.
It may be that this is the first year all branches have failed to meet thier recruiting goals. I cannot recall that ever being the case.
Being a Vietnam era veteran, I believe that today’s young people think that “let the other guy do it” attitude prevails much in our American society today. Just looking for a free ride. I’m not sure if it’s because of the indoctrination in the school systems or the attitudes of their parents.
My Dad was a WW 2 combat veteran, so I grew up with the idea of giving back to the country for all the freedoms that we hold dear. He didn’t want me to volunteer but I had this deep feeling that I had to do my part. And I appreciate serving in the military more every day even though I wanted to finish my tour and be done with it. And I’m glad I did.
Could be we didn’t learn our lesson with the involuntary syphilis experiments known as the Tuskegee Study. Years ago the military members were given false information about a new drug they were going to study and needed volunteers. The drug was LSD with negative effects. Let us not forget the A-bomb veterans who were placed in a forward position near the detonation of the A-bomb tests. Agents oOange and Blue sprayed on our military. Finally mandatory vaccination with the still experimental COVID vaccines. Would you enlist knowing you will become a guinea pig?

Women have these
never-combat-ready
vulnerabilities :
Ankles / Knees / Hips / Moon-Cycle / Estrogen (( in
the ‘67 Israeli war, well-trained women bolted, which
caused some of the men to retreat with those female
“soldiers” )) / Pregnancy (( During the first Gulf War,
women used the pregnancy-excuse to decline the
risk of combat )) / Upper Body Strength (( women
don’t have it, compared with men )) / Whole lot of
BOINKING goin’ on !—women being pressured into
sex with horny males, forced to shower with men.
