A majority of voters believe the economy has gotten worse under President Joe Biden, but most Democrats want to blame Republicans in Congress.
That’s according to the latest Rasmussen Reports.
The survey finds that 53% of likely U.S. voters think the U.S. economy has gotten worse since Biden became president, while 30% say the economy has gotten better and 16% believe the economy is about the same under Biden’s presidency.
These findings have barely changed since late August.
Speaking to auto workers Friday in Illinois, Biden said: “Our economy has made strong gains since I came to office. We have the strongest economic growth and the lowest inflation rate of any major economy in the entire world.”
While 51% of Democrats think the economy has improved under Biden, that opinion is shared by only 13% of Republicans and 24% of voters not affiliated with either major party.
Majorities of both Republicans (78%) and unaffiliated voters (57%) say the economy has gotten worse since Biden became president, and 21% of Democrats agree.

EVERYONE knows the economy is worse under Biden, but the Dems are loathe to admit that Trump was a better economic President. Sadly, the people who suffer the most under his reign are the people least able to afford it. But Dem elites could not care less about that. As long as their guy wins, “Let them eat cake”! ?
