The more advanced our technology has become, the more our systems and processes have become broken.
The more money we’ve spent on health care and health insurance, the earlier we are dying in terms of life expectancy.
The more medicine we’ve taken, the sicker our society has become.
The more we’ve spent supporting the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the more disease has overcome us.
The more mental health therapy that’s been available, the more mental illness we’ve developed.
The more border patrol agents we’ve funded, the more foreigners have illegally crossed into the US.
The more we’re normalized drug use and mental illness, the bigger the mental health epidemic, addiction, homelessness , and crime problems.
The more vaccines we’ve routinely given, the more chronic illness epidemics have hit our society.
The more news outlets we have, the less real news we get.
Where we’ve legalized marijuana, the illegal drug trade has flourished.
Where we’ve treated criminals as victims, crime has spiked.
The more kids who use social media, the more unsocial they become.
The more expensive college has gotten, and the more who have attended college, the less educated we have become.
The more money we’ve given our intel agencies to protect us against foreign terrorists, the more they’ve used their tools and techniques in an unconstitutional way against US citizens.

Our ideas about government and its function have skewed dramatically from the original intent of those who chartered it. Until a correction is made, the trending observed above will continue and even accelerate.

20 years ago I made a handshake contract with a man in Minneapolis to make some very small repairs to his rooming house for an insignificant amount of money. We agreed about the project ‘s beginning date and what was to be done. When I arrived at the jobsite on the exact prearranged date, I observed the work I had been contracted to do was already done. The customer later told me he found another person to do the work for less money. When I objected, he called a big shot fancy Minneapolis lawyer who got the MN Legislature to make illegal all future handshake agreements regardless of the amount of money involved. The stupid lawyer changed the entire honor system into a legalistic mess. Sometimes it is best for a well intentioned lawyer to do absolutely nothing. Nothing was ameliorated, in fact it was a dangereous precedent. Mr. Kelly is wrong again.

Realize, everything is a lie.
Healthcare to keep you sick.
Diet to keep you weak, fat & dumb… needing healthcare.
Business to keep you an addicted consumer and always “just above broke.”
Govt services that never work and require more govt services to do the job, which requires more taxes to help keep you broke.
See the pattern? It’s time to break the game.

There’s no great mystery here, the people who run the western world run it for their own advantage, and since this is kind of a zero-sum game, the better the world is for the Masters, the worse it is for the peasants. The more plutocracy, the less democracy. Once that is understood, all else follows. Understanding that is the problem, as the Masters have been running the place for a long long time, and the bit of a setback during the years the notion of ‘democracy’ was somewhat ascendant, say the first half or so of the 20th century, they have been very systematically rolling back for the last 50 years. A lot of moving parts, more here – Democracy Study Guide – https://www.rudemacedon.ca/DSG/0000-summary.html

We now have: 1) 15% illegals with all types of new and dangerous illness and no previous good healthcare, 2) we have 100k a year dying from opiods and felony activity, and 3) we have gov’t policies helping people make many different bad health choices. Did NIAID factor that in, when stating their version of the ‘facts’ about ‘Americans’?

“The more advanced our technology has become, the more our systems and processes have become broken.”
Well … the more things there are to break. On the other hand, we’re able to handle a LOT more people than we could with old systems. Are there problems? Yes. Of course there are. But I think this is mostly a “feel good” nugget of false “wisdom”.
“The more money we’ve spent on health care and health insurance, the earlier we are dying in terms of life expectancy.”
I think this is patently and provably false.
“The more medicine we’ve taken, the sicker our society has become.”
I don’t think so. Not unless you’re taking “medicine” you don’t need to address something specifically wrong with you. We certainly have more addicts. And lots of people otherwise taking drugs they don’t need. But by and large, medical technology has been pretty awesome.
“The more we’ve spent supporting the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the more disease has overcome us.”
Seriously? We’re living longer than ever.
“The more mental health therapy that’s been available, the more mental illness we’ve developed.”
Lot of truth to that one. But it’s more like new mental ailments keep getting invented and, oh, look, we just happen to have a program for that!
“The more we’re normalized drug use and mental illness, the bigger the mental health epidemic, addiction, homelessness, and crime problems.”
I think a lot of this has been caused by cultural erosion. The availability of escapist drugs doesn’t help.
“The more border patrol agents we’ve funded, the more foreigners have illegally crossed into the US.”
This is an executive policy issue, not a border agent funding issue.
“The more we’re normalized drug use and mental illness, the bigger the mental health epidemic, addiction, homelessness, and crime problems.”
Gonna go with a solid “yes” on this one. But again, this is a cultural issue.
“The more vaccines we’ve routinely given, the more chronic illness epidemics have hit our society.”
Not that I’ve noticed. I think we diagnose more stuff now than we used to as we learn more. Not that there isn’t some absolutely made up stuff out there – but by and large …
“The more news outlets we have, the less real news we get.”
True, but it’s not cause/effect. It’s a cultural issue.
“Where we’ve legalized marijuana, the illegal drug trade has flourished.”
Any more than it has across the board? Data?
“Where we’ve treated criminals as victims, crime has spiked.”
I’ll buy that one, easy. Common sense.
“The more kids who use social media, the more unsocial they become.”
I have a hunch this is true. But I might be wrong. I hope I am. I don’t think it’s quality socializing, for sure.
“The more expensive college has gotten, and the more who have attended college, the less educated we have become.”
Again, these are written in a manner that suggests cause and effect. Technically, as stated, it is true. But it’s not the cause. It’s a cultural issue. This one is exacerbated by academic culture and its takeover by the left over the past 60 … 80 … 100+ years.
“The more money we’ve given our intel agencies to protect us against foreign terrorists, the more they’ve used their tools and techniques in an unconstitutional way against US citizens.”
Well power corrupts. Or as I like to put it, power attracts corrupt people, and both tempts the egos’ and souls of even good men.

April 15 – we send tons of our money to the government, with no strings attached.
Is this really what we want to keep doing?
Tax revolt – This is the proper tool to use at this point, to exercise control this massive, diffuse and incompetent deep state. Vote for fiscal conservatives who honor their pledges to the taxpayers and toss out everyone else. We are that critical of a juncture right now.

Score one more for the free market place who occasionally gets some things very right;; compared to government bureaucrats who get nothing right.
We need serious tax reform because we are wasting far too much money, on nothing.

The short answer is that your are identifying problems regard which our culture has developed “professionals” for the purported purpose of “solving” those problems. But that approach doesn’t take into account that all of these “professional problem solvers” then RELY on the existence of those problems for their OWN existence. So the actual motivation isn’t to solve the problems but to keep those problems happening, if not help to create even more problems of a related kind.
What’s a border agent to do if there are no border issues that need tending? What’s a psychiatrist to do if there is no mental illness?
You could ask related questions concerning virtually any profession and the answer comes back the same — that the profession that was created to deal with a problem NEEDS the problem to continue and NOT get solved.
“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves …” — Cassius (Julius Caesar, Act I, Scene 2)

I believe you are spot on when it comes to medical issues. 100% wrong on border it must stop.

I’ve been in cybersecurity since before it was cyber, and just “ITsec”.
I make the same point – the more we spend on security, the more cyberthreats we face. Because this is a core business model. The US Navy patented TOR, building “the field” for the darknet players. The CiA leaked Microsoft code vulnerabilities, so they could follow the money and hide amongst the hackers. Microsoft created the first 32 bit virus, deploying the model globally.
This is a feature. Not a bug. This is at the heart of the business model. Not just tech: drugs, health, charity, war/defense, cancer, racewars, organized crime. And if there is no enemy or cause to fight, no problem to fix? Create it. Hamas? Created and nurtured by Israel. Political Extremism? Created by the FBI. Viral outbreaks? Same story. I call it “Cause War”.

Roman Empire? We have gone from the “Greatest Generation” to the fall in 60 years! Unfortunately, this seems to be how great societies work.
