There’s been an abrupt and mysterious spike in children who say they wish to be the opposite sex. Some context for the trend may be found in research that’s 25 years old.
Sunday on Full Measure, I’ll have the fascinating story of Berkeley Professor Tyrone Hayes. He was hired by a chemical company to study a product called atrazine that’s used on crops, and is a common contaminant in drinking water.
His research showed atrazine “demasculinized” and “feminized” animals. “Genetic males, which should develop testes and a certain type of larynx…that aspect was inhibited in those genetic males, oftentimes they developed ovaries and actually transformed into females,” says Hayes.
But wait until you hear how he was attacked and smeared when he reported his findings. We’ll ask Professor Hayes what his research implies in humans, especially when it comes to the trend of children saying they wish to be the opposite sex.
Also Sunday, there are widening tensions in the Mideast with the US drawn in by attacks on American targets. What’s it all about and how does it connect to Islamic extremist terrorists, Iran, and the attacks on Israel? Scott Thuman connects the dots
And for those who prefer to keep their cash at hand rather than in the bank… what happens if it’s accidentally mutilated or destroyed? Lisa Fletcher tells us about a fascinating but little known government division that can help get the money back.
We never waste your time rehashing the same news you’ve heard all week. Find out where and when to watch on TV or online by clicking this link: How to Watch Full Measure
The question now is how do we combat the affects of atrazine! If we can before the entire world is demasculated!
