Always has been Trump’s style to brow beat opponents on the campaign trail and then accept them back; more with a handshake than open arms, but accept them. Saw that with Ted Cruz, Ben Carson back in 2016.
IMO it is because those he welcomes back were competitors in politics but they all still had the Nation’s best interest at heart. Trump is still critical of Clinton, Obama. He may cut Biden some slack after Trump wins in Nov but only because of Biden’s dementia.
He accepts them back into the fold but not always back into Trump’s inner circle.

I believe that President Trump should make Governor DeSantis Vice President, it will give the USA and the world an amazingly awesome 12 years (at least)!
