(POLL) 42% say race relations are getting worse

February is Black History Month, and when considering the current state of race relations in the country, most Americans aren’t too optimistic.

Forty-two percent (42%) now say race relations in America are getting worse.

That’s according Rasmussen Reports.

The survey finds that 26% of adults say they believe race relations in the nation today are good or excellent, including 6% who rate them as excellent.

Fifteen percent (15%) now say race relations in America are getting better – down from 18% last year – while 36% say they believe race relations are staying about the same.
