(POLL) Trump leads over rumored Biden replacements, Newsom, Michelle

Analysts seem to think President Biden will remain the Democrats’ nominee, despite his poor polling numbers.

But a new poll indicates Donald Trump could best two of the most high-profile alternatives.

That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and former First Lady Michelle Obama have both been mentioned as possible replacements for Biden on the 2024 Democratic ticket.

In such hypothetical matchups, Trump leads Newsom by 17 points – 51% to 34% – and Trump leads Michelle Obama by seven points, 50% to 43%.

Additionally the survey finds that if the general election were held today, 49% of likely voters would choose Trump and 41% would vote for Biden.

That’s a bigger lead than Trump had last month (six points, 47% to 41% for Biden).

In any matchup, Trump benefits from both stronger partisan support and a significant margin of support among independent voters.

  1. Watched the show on rank choice voting i DVR you every week! You have so much courage im sure you go through some stuff to bring us truth! Thank you I believe the sudden push for the rank choice voting is just another way to cheat Biden into office. With his dismal ability and numbers there’s no way the dems would take a chance on him. John Fedderman would have a better chance getting elected
