While President Joe Biden claims it is only “elites” in the Democratic Party who want him to end his reelection bid, most voters say they agree with Hollywood liberal George Clooney that Democrats are doomed with Biden atop their ticket.
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
The survey finds that 54% of likely voters say they agree with Clooney’s claim that Democrats “are not going to win in November” with Biden as their presidential candidate, including 38% who say they “strongly agree.”
Thirty-four percent (34%) say they disagree, including 19% who say they “strongly disagree,” while another 12% say they are not sure.
In a telephone interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” last week, Biden blamed “elites” in his party for trying to push him off the ticket.
Forty-two percent (42%) of voters say they agree that it is only “elites” in the Democratic Party who think Biden should step aside as a candidate for reelection, including 20% who say they “strongly agree.”
Forty-two percent (42%) say they disagree, including 22% who say they “strongly disagree.”
Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.
