When tracking President Biden’s job approval on a daily basis, people sometimes get so caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations that they miss the bigger picture.
The president earned a monthly job approval of 44% in June, up two points from May. Fifty-five percent (55%) disapproved of his job performance in June, down two points from May.
During 2021, Biden’s first year in office, his approval hit a high of 52% in May of that year, but dropped significantly after the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. Biden’s approval was in the low 40s through the first part of 2022, but rose after the midterm elections. In 2023, his approval ranged between 44% to 48%.
Donald Trump’s monthly approval ran from a high of 51% in February 2017, his first full month in the White House, to a low of 42% in August 2017. In December 2020, his final full month in office, Trump earned a monthly job approval of 47%. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapproved.
Twenty-three percent (23%) of voters strongly approved of Biden’s job performance in June, up one point from the month before. Forty-five percent (45%) strongly disapproved, down one point from May. This gives him a full-month Presidential Approval Index rating of -22 for June, up two points from May.
Biden had his worst monthly Approval Index, at -29, twice in 2022.
Four years ago in June 2020, Trump had an Approval Index of -13. When Trump first took office in January 2017, he earned a full-month Approval Index rating of -4 after his first full month. During his final full month in office, his Approval Index rating was -8.
Trump’s lowest Approval Index rating was -21 during July and August of 2017, but improved in 2018 after his State of the Union speech that year.

Biden is still 11 points under water. I would guess the polling was strong among ideologue democrats, in other words biased as are most polls.
Well we now know it’s a likely possibility that 23% of the voters have low IQs or they’re working a a scam.
