Trump talks with Sharyl Attkisson about cost-cutting role for Musk, health and environment roles for RFK Jr.
Each time we wonder “what more can happen in this bizarre presidential campaign,” an answer seems to come with another remarkable event.
Less than a week ago, it was a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump in a little more than two months.
With continuing scrutiny over the Secret Service’s protection strategy, I asked Trump if he’s ever scared.
“I can’t be scared,” Trump told me in an interview at his Florida Mar-a-Lago home to be aired on Sunday’s Full Measure on the Sinclair Broadcast Group network. “Because if you’re scared, you can’t do your job. So I just can’t be. I have thus far had somebody protecting me because you almost think it couldn’t have just been two times.”
I also asked Trump what specific positions he’s discussed offering to former Democrats Robert F. Kennedy Junior and Tulsi Gabbard, and to X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk.
Kennedy, nicknamed “Bobby,” is the lifelong Democrat who left the party when it blocked him from running a primary campaign against President Joe Biden.
Kennedy ultimately dropped out of his independent run and endorsed Trump. Kennedy says Trump has offered him the opportunity to pursue a “MAHA” or “Make America Healthy Again” mandate.
“Bobby will do great on health and on the environment,” Trump said.
“But does that mean like Health and Human Services?” I asked.
“No. No. It doesn’t mean anything…I didn’t make deals with anybody because it’s not appropriate to do it at this. It’s too early. But it’s getting to be that time, isn’t it?…So we’ll see what happens,” he answered.
“But Bobby’s, what he’s done on healthcare over the years, I mean, I’ve known him for a long time. And with him, it’s eating. What you eat. What chemicals you put in your body. I mean, he’s been fighting for this for years. He looks at other countries where they don’t use chemicals or they use much less than we use. And the people are healthier than they are in the United States, which is not that healthy a country.”
Tulsi Gabbard is a former congresswoman from Hawaii, also a Democrat-turned-independent who has endorsed Trump.
“Tulsi has always been good from the standpoint of common sense. She’s like a common sense person,” Trump said. “I’ve watched her for a long time on shows. I’ve known her a little bit. And it was a great honor when we got her…She was a Democrat and popular too in Hawaii. And she will be, she will be terrific.”
Musk owns X (formerly “Twitter”). “He’s indicating he might be willing to help with like government waste type issues,” I said to Trump.
“What he will do is, and the thing that we talk about more than anything else is exactly that. It’s costs,” Trump said. “He’s a big cost cutter.
“He has always been very good at it, and I’m good at it, but Elon, I’ll tell you what, he will go in and he’ll say, ‘This is what you have to do. You have to do this.’ He is so into that. He feels there’s so much waste and fat in this country. And he’s right. He’s a hundred percent right.”

You know President Trump makes such good political and common-sensical points that it astounds me that the race is still close.
While I’ve always been a Trumpster, Bobby Kennedy Jr.’s-if this is truly what he believes- dictum apparently is”We Are What We Eat!”. And after 40 of my 76 years I found this out to be true-and actually- a Godsend in practice.
There has been so many preservatives and additives added to our processed foods, sometimes their ingredients outnumber what the food is marketed as. Thus, not only do our bodies treat these additives as unnatural invaders-but, the implications appears to be-such additives are supported and encouraged by the FDA (the Government’s bureaucracy that’s suppose to protect us), so by the time the young get elderly, they are walking Zombies (and some can’t even walk anymore-because their joints hurt so much).
Why anyone would take the advice and recommendations of many today’s Doctors or “health experts” is an enigma to me since these same “loving and caring people” gaslighted us with “The covid vax is safe and effective.”
They also told us that masks work (when any Google search will tell you that viruses are smaller than the barrier of cloth masks). Moreover, they didn’t account for the costs of such a dictum (for instance, on schoolchildren who now were suppose to Zoom their way to an education-and who instead, perhaps, are now obese and drug dependent).
Apparently, the gaslighting began in the early 1960’s when the original food triangle was eviscerated to create a new food triangle-which contained no healthy fats (of which there are several-and which are necessary to equip yourself for a healthy and productive life). This new carb- and sugar-enriched-triangle which contained a plethora of carbs gave us epidemics of diabetes, obesity, heart problems, cancer and joint pain.
Later, it was discovered that the Doctor who recommended the change was funded by-I believe-it was either by the Agrifood Industry or the Sugar Industry-or perhaps both.
President Trump (besides with the many other policies that he enumerates) has found a cadre of very intelligent people that he will appoint (eg Kennedy, Musk, Gabbard, and hopefully Pompeo) to governmental institutions- like, for instance the FDA- that currently are not only ineffective and incompetent, but are also perhaps dishonest and are presently dangerous to our future.
Speaking from experience. I can assure you President Trump may not be scared, but maybe it’s something else. Personally, I believe Trump has already achieved his mission that he started 9 years ago. Yes, winning would benefit us all, but I do not believe that was his goal. He sacrificed all he had to open the eyes of Americans. He has achieved that. I know this may seem far fetched, but maybe Donald J. Trump has accepted the fact that if it takes him losing his life to help save this country. Then, here we are folks. Scared? No, it’s all or nothing time. Go Trump and Go America!
Trump offers up more policy plans in a short interview than Harris has in a 90 minute debate, interviews on CNN, ABC, Oprah and the NatAssoc of Black Journalists. All she has is a jumbled mess of words to burden us with what she has been!
Trump has a plan. I believe it is much more intricate than He reveals. He is selecting and bringing aboard an intelligent and talented team Of Warriors who are putting on the armour God has given each of us.
As a Trumpster, we need to be a part of this team. They cannot do it alone. We must learn and understand where WE are in the scheme of worldly affairs, learn how we can contribute our energy and enthusiasm to make the change in our country and the world.
Educate and pray for guidance to boldly help the blind to see the correct path forward, changing minds that are full of lies and distortion. Understand the aim of the “other side” is to capture and manipulate the already injured population overcoming prior Attacks on our health, values and freedoms.
In advance, thank you for your support and determination to be the reason for change. DD
My comment was encouraging Trumpsters to get informed, wear armour of Godly strength and contribute to the efforts of the team he selected. It is gone and censored off this site. What a shame.

I believe that Operation Warp Speed did save lives, but only early on during the pandemic. I think it likely that the vaccines/shots helped prevent the death of high risk individuals at the very beginning, but the virus quickly evolved. The shots also harmed a statistically small but significant part of the population. Why and how? There is a highly informative podcast on The Illusion of Consensus by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya interviewing Dr. Martin Zizi, “The Risks of mRNA’s Breakthrough in Modern Medicine with Martin Zizi”. As usual, technological development has outpaced our knowledge/judgement/ethics. Mr. Pence probably did the best he could, but turning things over to the government and military resulted in a situation where individualized medicine was the last thing on the table. The situation is not black and white. Most of the government/CDC’s interminable and intractable decisions and policies over time destroyed the economy and our psyches in my opinion.
