On Sunday, Donald Trump returned to the literal scene of the crime: Butler, Pennsylvania.
Just months earlier, he’d been shot there by a would-be assassin.
He began his return-appearance by stating, “As I was saying…,” which promoted cheers and roars among the crowd that numbered in the tens of thousands.
Much of the rally was devoted to remembering the victims who were also shot at the rally, including Corey Comperatore, who died. Comperatore’s widow attended the Sunday Trump event.
One highlight was the first appearance at a Trump rally by “X” owner Elon Musk.
“You know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist pumping after getting shot,” Musk said after bouncing out onto the stage, hands raised.
Musk spoke of Democrats’ and government efforts to restrict free speech in America, import masses of illegal immigrants and confer upon them benefits and the right to vote, and shape elections in order to have their preferred candidates win.
“Register to vote. Get everyone you know — and everyone you don’t know. Drag them to register to vote,” said Musk. “If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction. Nothing’s more important.”

As a Trump supporter, I’m compelled to point out that Trump isn’t perfect — just better than any alternative offered by democrats OR republicans — and having anything to do with giant FRAUD Gomer Musktard is one of Trump’s mistakes, or it will be if he fails after the election to recognize that Gomer Musktard is a lying MORON whose first choice for president was Andrew Yang.
There is literally nothing about Gomer Musktard that is legitimate, including his claimed excuse that he is backing Trump because of Trump getting shot. That’s nonsense. Gomer is backing Trump because he knows Trump is going to win, so Gomer wants to be on record as supporting a winner and because he’s looking for something from Trump.
Meanwhile, his fraudulent X site bans Trump supporters like me, and Gomer continues to have democrats running that fraudulent site.
Your headline does not reflect what the quote was in the piece. That headline was misleading and scary. I have admired you for years thinking you were a neutral journalist but you’ve turned into a mouth piece for the Trump cult fanatics.
There needs to be a written summation of Musk’s deep thoughts shared during this rambling interview format. There was a lot of concise brilliance, unvarnished but not immediately accessible.
