Many respondents say the vice-presidential candidate has only a small impact on their vote for president, while a notable portion say it influences their decision “a lot.”
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Forty-seven percent (47%) say the VP candidate influences their vote only a little. Meanwhile, thirty-three percent (33%) say the running mate matters “a lot” in their decision-making process. Nineteen percent (19%) say the VP candidate doesn’t influence their vote at all.
These results suggest that while the vice-presidential candidate plays a role, for most voters, it’s not the deciding factor in their presidential choice.
