As far as nuclear armed enemies, there is only one that is a real threat and that is Iran. More about this later. Russia and the ChiComs came through the Cold War and knew what a nuclear war meant, which is why we war all here,
To understand Iran, one needs to understand their end of times. The Shia await the Mahdi who will return during a time of chaos and war, at which he will lead the faithful to victory and set up a worldwide Caliphate. At some point the Mahdi leads the faithful to paradise to sit at the Left Hand of Allah. However, if they are obliterated and lose the war, they go to paradise as martyrs and sit at the Left Hand of Allah.
It is Win-Win for Iran, Win or Lose.
I believe a small majority of the Iranian people are good folks and do not want any part of the Mad Mollos. I know some that fled Iran when the Mad Mollos took over. I really hope they can get control from the Mad Mollos and avoid Nuclear War.
I believe Israel can take Iran and if it comes to that, Russia and the ChiComs will sit it out. If the US gets involved, both may get involved, now we have WWIII.
Scott Thuman avoids what I consider the biggest problem facing the United States, that being the 60,000,000 million Illegal Aliens in the US. While Illegal Aliens mean more money going to the jurisdictions they inhabit, they also determine representation in the House of Representatives. These are people without any background in self-government. They are used to an all-powerful government that takes care of their needs.
Traditionally, Americans have had strange ideas about government. They want the government to leave them alone and to keep out of their private lives.
My Point: This alone could finish off America.
