I believe I remember this fiasco. Rangel was found guilty and sentenced to be censured by the House. I believe he had to go stand in the “well” and Nancy Pelosi read the censure into the record. (oh the shame! /sarc) The *he* got to speak. He talked some crap for 5 or 10 minutes and then the whole chamber got up and applauded him. They applauded him!! Probably all went for drinks together at Gibsons later… That was pretty much the moment I knew all of Washington was a festering cesspit! Nothing’s changed…

Would that Senator Joe Biden had been removed from office,
after having been caught TWICE egregiously plagiarizing, then,
( and Martin Luther King Junior’s plagiarizing of his doctorate
thesis, then . . . )
