‘Shut it Down’: Reporting from the Border; Trump proofing; Pharma lobbying

While Donald Trump was being sworn in for a second term, I headed to the US Mexico border.

Residents and law enforcement officials are already looking forward to big changes.

We’ll look at the status of border wall construction that is set to pick up again after a four year pause.

And I’ll take you along on a patrol with Cochise County Sheriff’s Deputies as they hunt down crooks trafficking illegal immigrants. That business, along with drug trafficking, has risen to record levels under the Biden administration’s open border policies.

Meantime, the killer cartels have profited beyond imagination– all thanks to US policy now undergoing a radical reset.

Even before Donald Trump was officially elected, forces that see themselves losing under a second Trump administration were already plotting ways to stymy a second Trump term.

Once he was elected, officials in the Biden administration set out trying to “Trump proof” certain things– so he couldn’t force federal workers to come back into the office or resume executions of death row killers.

Sunday on Full Measure, Lisa Fletcher will report on the efforts to hamstring Trump 2.0.

Also Sunday, we’ll look at the cash that the pharmaceutical industry has been pouring into Washington DC to lobby officials for favorable policies– favorable to the companies, that is!

See you Sunday!

We never waste your time rehashing the same news you’ve heard all week. Find out where and when to watch on TV or online by clicking this link: How to Watch Full Measure
