A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds that 57% of likely voters say they approve of federal immigration raids aimed at apprehending and deporting illegal immigrants, including 38% who say they strongly approve. Meanwhile, 39% say they disapprove, with 24% who say they strongly disapprove.
Trump administration officials have ordered investigations of cities with so-called “sanctuary” laws to protect illegal immigrants. Nearly half (48%) of voters say they believe officials in “sanctuary” cities should be prosecuted if they interfere with enforcement of federal immigration law, while 38% say they disagree and 14% say they are not sure.
Opinions are sharply divided along party lines. Among Republicans, 81% say they approve of the raids, compared to 36% of Democrats and 45% of independents. At the same time, 47% of Democrats say they strongly disapprove, while only 6% of Republicans and 16% of independents say they feel the same.
The survey also finds that 71% of Republicans, 28% of Democrats, and 46% of independents say they support prosecuting local officials in sanctuary cities if they interfere with federal immigration enforcement.
The poll was conducted from January 26-28, 2025, with 1,229 likely US voters and a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.

That is the only way these illegals will leave. The call for them to return to their country on their own just will not happen. They will take the chance of not being caught.
So how else do you operate? Only logical action is find them.
If cities resist or refuse to corporate then stop any and all federal funding to that state. Let the city officials raise taxes on its citizens to pay for their “free” services granted to people who do not legally belong there.
