The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds that 48% of likely U.S. voters say they approve of Trump’s handling of trade issues, including 34% who say they rate his performance as excellent. Meanwhile, 41% say they think he is doing a poor job. These numbers reflect an improvement over how voters say they rated Trump’s trade policy during his first term.
Since being inaugurated for his second term last month, Trump has moved swiftly to implement new tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. The survey finds that 72% say they think Trump is more aggressive on trade than most recent presidents when it comes to pushing what is best for America. Only 10% say they believe he is less aggressive, while 9% say his approach is about the same as his predecessors. Another 9% say they are unsure.
Opinions on Trump’s trade policy vary widely along party lines. Among Republicans, 76% say they approve of Trump’s handling of trade, compared to 23% of Democrats and 47% of unaffiliated voters. Meanwhile, 66% of Democrats say they rate Trump’s trade policies as poor, compared to 11% of Republicans and 38% of unaffiliated voters.
The survey of 1,229 likely voters was conducted from February 3-5, 2025, and has a margin of sampling error of ±3 percentage points.

I guess the comeback from the swamp will be “Nobody trusts Rasmussen” it’s Right Wing. Over here in England I wouldn’t know. Is that a correct assumption?
