The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds that 48% of likely US voters say they believe President Trump is acting like a dictator, while 46% say he is doing what voters elected him to do.
Opinions are sharply divided along party lines. Seventy-four (74%) percent of Democrats say they believe Trump is acting like a dictator, while the same percentage of Republicans—74%—say they believe he is fulfilling his electoral mandate. Voters not affiliated with either major party are nearly split, with 46% saying Trump is doing what he was elected to do, 44% saying he is acting like a dictator, and 10% unsure.
The survey also asked voters about quote Trump recently posted, often attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte: “He who saves his country does not violate any law.” Forty-two (42%) percent of voters say they agree with the statement, including 21% who say they strongly agree, while 40% disagree, including 29% who say they strongly disagree. Another 17% say they are unsure.
Additionally, the poll found that 44% of voters say the country would be better off if Kamala Harris had won the last presidential election, while 47% disagree. Among Democrats, 75% say they believe America would be better off under Harris, while only 18% of Republicans and 36% of unaffiliated voters say they agree. Seventy-eight (78%) percent of Republicans, 16% of Democrats, and 49% of unaffiliated voters say they do not think the country would be better off if Harris had won.
The survey of 1,241 likely US voters was conducted on February 19-20 and 23, 2025, with a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.

Amusing.
There is a difference btween taking control of the government and being like a dictator and this poll appears not to define the difference by phrasing it as “acting” like a dictator. Rassmussen needs to instill more clarity in their questioning.
Yes Trump is acting like a dictator as it comes to regaining control of the government. But his actions towards the People is purely libertarian in the truest sense. Making America Great means more freedoms for the People.

BUT! 74% of Republicans is not the same as 74% of Democrats. 77 Million people voted for Trump…… Do the Math!

Polling democrat voters is one thing, but what do actual “Americans” think?
The 74% is not surprising given the brainwashing that’s taken place in the schools, TV, local government. Ironically those seeing the light are more likely to be those who were formerly at the tip of the Democrat Spear , the NAACP. No group in America has suffered more under far left Democrat policies than Americans of African descent.
However, in cities across America the far left’s push has done immense damage to their traditional Black supporters. Well prior to the last election the Oakland California chapter of the NAACP wrote a very strong, public letter advocating removal of the Soros sponsored county prosecutor and putting more police on the street. The Soros sponsored , incumbent prosecutors lost in LA and Oakland ( Alameda County).
The far left shook off the election results and has gone back to the full attack mode . Endlessly screaming that Trump is a dictator is cover for their real fear that many of their voters will permanently shift allegiance. What the left really fears is that the voters will better understand the lies they have been told by the “mainstream press”.
It is also a smokescreen to hide some of the information that may come to light in the near future. Former FBI Director Louie Freeh was working with Hunter and Joe on a number of projects including the Burisma “Biden Influence” project. Freeh reported to Hunter in one of their many emails that he was working with “top FBI officials” on behalf of Burisma. Presumably these were the same officials who would later have a very strong motivation to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story and make every effort to prevent Trump from becoming President.
