(POLL) Most say deportation of MS-13 suspect was justified

Most respondents say the deportation of the Maryland father and MS-13 suspect to El Salvador was justified.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.

Ninety-four percent (94%) say the deportation was justified.

Two percent (2%) say the deportation was a mistake.

Three percent (3%) say they are unsure about the deportation.

The overwhelming majority of participants say the deportation was justified, reflecting strong support for President Trump’s policies on illegal immigration and the removal of foreign criminals.

  1. The sampling may be a bit skewed on the right side of the equation to get ashigh as 94% but I have little doubt a large majority agree Abrego Garcia was not the type of individual immigrant, legal or illegal, we want as a neighbor.
The press and the leftist democrats will claim differently but they would still be in the minority, less than 15% IMO. Even those pushing for due process are doing so simply to oppose Trump. TDS is a real disease and those on the left have it bad!

  2. The photo showing “MS13″tat is obviously photo-shopped however he remains a suspect since he never had his trial about being a member. Due process is important in this case. But with those gang members already in prison, and tried let’s ship them out. I am concerned that we are not sending them to El Salvador because they are in the private prison industries “care”. Private prisons get paid per prisoner and some one doesn’t want them to lose money if we pull them out and send them to El Salvadore.

  3. The latest hero’s of the Democrat Party

Unfortunately for the American People, many Federal judges were appointed by President Obama and President Biden. It is obvious that these judges will oppose anything President Trump attempts to accomplish, no matter how beneficial that is for Americans or how necessary it is for their protection. We have seen the extraordinary lengths and illegal acts these judges have pursued to protect MS-13 monstrous gang members, sent here by the Communist Venezuelan Government. Of course, the Democrat Party, and its servants in the Media, cheer them on. But now, these Democrat judges have entered a higher realm of lawlessness, by actively destroying evidence, which proves the crimes of the illegal invaders, and even secreting them from the grasp of law enforcement. Judge Joel Cano, of New Mexico, is accused of destroying very serious incriminating evidence contained on the cell phone of an illegal. Judge Hannah Dugan, of Wisconsin, has been arrested for causing the escape of an illegal from her courtroom during his criminal hearing for assault and battery on two people hospitalized for the injuries caused by his attack. Imagine the shock of the victims, present in that courtroom, when this happened. Per usual, the Democrats, and their Media tools, are decrying the arrests of these judges. Out of the other side of their mouths the Democrats have the nerve to say “No one is above the law.” The lawlessness and hypocrisy of the Democrat Party shocks the conscience.

  4. A few weeks ago, SA had a survey in which 86% of the respondents claimed that the Signal issue was an “inside job”. This despite the obvious fact that there is no real possibility of that being true, especially considering that the guilty party (Waltz) admitted that he did it.
Now we have another survey that is even worse. 94% of respondents thought that the deportation of Abrego Garcia was “justified”. How anyone could think that, let alone so many, is simply beyond my ability to understand.
First the facts…. Abrego Garcia was deported despite him having a valid court order explicitly preventing him from being deported. And he was deported without any hearing at all. Those are the only facts that matter here. It doesn’t matter if he is a gang member or not. I don’t know if he is or not – and neither do any of the survey respondents (and Trump’s clumsy attempt to use a photoshopped image to buttress his claim reminds me of the famous altered weather map that Trump claimed was authentic). The point is that the due process that Abrego Garcia was denied is what is supposed to determine those types of things.
Trump and his supporters know that the issue is the absence of due process. They absolutely know it. But they are attempting to reframe it to make it about something else. No one should let them do that.
But the most perplexing thing about the survey results is that the choice of “it was a mistake”
was offered and so few people took that choice. How could it not have been a mistake if he had a valid court order preventing him from being deported? And remember that it was the government’s own lawyer who said in a courtroom that “it was a mistake”. So the government’s own lawyer says it was a mistake and there was a valid court order preventing it, yet somehow 94% of people didn’t think so. That’s really hard to understand.
But, of course, the really disturbing thing is that Trump is refusing to obey subsequent court orders (from the Supreme Court no less). Even if the original deportation was “a mistake”, refusing to correct that mistake, i.e., refusing to obey a court order is something that every American who believes in the rule of law should be condemning. And it’s a sad, sad day when they are not. And truly dangerous.
So tell me where I’m wrong. You can accuse me of having TDS if you’d like, but I have laid out my arguments clearly. So attack them and not me.
SA says the survey shows “strong support for President Trump’s policies on illegal immigration and the removal of foreign criminals”. That is certainly true for this survey, but not for the country as a whole. Here are summary results from three recent polls:
Just over half, 52%, say Trump has gone too far in deporting undocumented immigrants, up from 45% in February. A similar 52% now say that Trump’s immigration policies have not made the US safer. And most, 57%, say that they do not believe the federal government is being careful in following the law while carrying out deportations.

Trump gets higher marks on his performance on immigration than on any other issue Reuters/Ipsos polled on, with 45% of respondents approving his handling of it, steady with the prior finding.
According to a new AP-NORC poll, 46% of adults say they approve of Trump’s approach to immigration policy while 53% disapprove.

What happened to my due process when millions crossed the open border unopposed when the president elect failed in his duties to protect our border. why isn’t THAT a part of the equation? and while the “media” swoons away to the ground, clutching their pearls, fainting upon the couch, tis so-called maryland man has been in the country over a decade, as i understand he had deportation orders against him. and now we have judges who’d you think are where they are because the people would like them to uphold the law and instead they are flagrantly violating the law. i’m supposed to follow the law? if the end result is all out anarchy, then i’d hazard we are moving in the right direction
