An overwhelming majority say they have never owned a Tesla—whether for political reasons or not.
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Eighty-six percent (86%) say they have never owned a Tesla.
Eight percent (8%) say they currently own one but not for political reasons.
About five percent (5%) say they bought a Tesla in the past six months for political reasons.
Less than one percent (<1%) say they sold one for political reasons.
These findings suggest that while Tesla often makes headlines in political and cultural conversations, very few people are making buying or selling decisions based on political motives.
