Paul Harvey used to end his daily monologues, aired mostly on AM radio stations, with “And now you know the rest of the story.” I realized then, and now, that Mr. Harvey was a story teller and was purely entertainment, but he challenged people to actually think. It’s a rare occurrence when I watch, read or listen to reporting these days and I’m not left wondering what facts and circumstances have been purposefully omitted from that reporting. Sharyl rarely, if ever, disappoints in that regard. That’s why I’ve bought so many of her t-shirts and wear them proudly.
