A majority of respondents believe that veterans who were injured during service should have their homes paid for for the rest of their lives.
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Fifty-nine percent (59%) say service-injured veterans deserve a home provided for them for life.
Forty-one percent (41%) say they do not support the idea of lifelong housing for veterans injured in the line of duty.
The poll results show that while a solid majority support the idea, a significant minority oppose it, suggesting a divide on how best to support those who served.
These findings reflect continued public debate on the government’s role in caring for wounded veterans and how far that support should go.

If your disabled to the point you can’t work them absolutely.
After all go have a look at how congress & senate take care of themselves (at our expense) after they retire, even after only one term served. It’s a hypocritical and self serving system.
Every veteran who risks their life for their country should never have to worry about having a roof over his/her head. If they didn’t make the ultimate sacrifice(s), we might be living like those in Auschwitz. Imagine what life would be like for the entire globe if the Allies hadn’t freed them when they did. So if we can afford to put up undocumented people in nice hotels, then the LEAST we can do is make sure those who DO follow the rules (and are brave enough to step up when needed), NEVER have to worry where they will lay their head at night.
