More people say they’ve worn a mask in public for health reasons than say they’ve never worn one at all—but the numbers are very close.
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Thirty-seven percent (37%) say they’ve worn a mask in public for health reasons.
Thirty-six percent (36%) say they’ve never worn a mask in public.
Twenty-five percent (25%) say they’ve only worn one for Halloween.
Just under three percent (3%) say they’ve worn a mask to protest.
The results suggest public opinion is nearly split, but slightly more people say they’ve masked up for health than not at all.

Poll Question: Have you ever worn a mask in public?
37% Yes, for health
3% Yes, to protest
25% Only for Halloween
36% No

“Only for Halloween” equals “No”. Why are they treated separately?
I wore a bandanna because the grocery stores would not let you in with out a face covering. There’s still a few sheep to this day wearing them.
