Trump sues WSJ over Epstein birthday letter story

The following is from Just The News.

President Donald Trump has announced plans to sue the Wall Street Journal over an article claiming he sent a birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein.

The article alleges Trump contributed to a 2003 birthday project arranged by Ghislaine Maxwell, which included notes from close friends. The note attributed to Trump was described as bawdy and ended with, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has denied writing the note. The White House said it was “not at all how he speaks or writes.” Trump stated that he warned the WSJ and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, not to publish the story and that he would sue if they did.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:

“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued.”

He added that the editor of the WSJ, Emma Tucker, was told by both Karoline Leavitt and Trump himself that the letter was fake. Trump said the outlet went ahead with “a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway” and that he would be suing the Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Murdoch.

Trump said the media must “learn to be truthful” and stop relying on questionable sources. He called the story a sign of the outlet’s desperation and added that if the Epstein claims had any merit, they would have emerged during the 2024 election. The article and lawsuit come amid criticism of how his administration handled the Epstein case.

Maybe the letter is fake. Maybe the letter is not fake. The letter, whatever it is is an accessory issue. The important facts about Satanic Ritual Abuse involving Mr. Epstein and his many friends who abused children is the issue here. The abuse of children by the rich and famous is the issue here.
