The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
A majority of likely US voters give former President Donald Trump favorable marks for his handling of border security, according to a new national Rasmussen Reports survey.
Fifty-three percent (53%) rate Trump’s performance on securing the US border and preventing illegal immigration as either “good” or “excellent.” That’s an 8-point increase from July, when 45% said the same. Meanwhile, 31% give Trump a poor rating.
The findings reflect growing voter support for Trump’s immigration policies as concerns over the border crisis remain high on the national agenda.
The poll also finds Americans sharply divided on the issue of legal immigration—highlighting how unsettled the debate remains even beyond the crisis at the southern border.
Roughly three-in-ten voters say legal immigration should be increased (29%), while nearly the same number—30%—say it should be reduced. Another 29% believe the current level is about right, and 12% remain unsure. The even split underscores the broader uncertainty and lack of political consensus surrounding immigration policy.
The Rasmussen survey was conducted among likely US voters through telephone and online methods. Detailed methodology was not published in the excerpt.

Unfortunately, I live in California. The Legislature has plans (as part of the “Trump-Proofing” of CA) to make the State Dept. of Health arbiter of who gets vaccines and when. They don’t care what the Fed has to say about it. We’re well on our way to vaccine mandates, mask mandates, etc.
