The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
A majority of likely U.S. voters say they agree with former President Donald Trump’s proposal to deploy the National Guard in high-crime cities to restore order.
According to the new Rasmussen Reports poll, 52% of voters say they agree with Trump’s call. Thirty-two percent (32%) say they disagree, and 16% are not sure.
Among Republicans, 73% say they agree. Democrats are more divided, with 40% agreeing and 39% disagreeing. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 47% say they agree and 32% say they disagree.
The question was based on Trump’s remarks at a June 22 rally in Philadelphia, where he said violent crime in some U.S. cities was out of control and promised that, if elected, he would immediately send in the National Guard. He also said, “If you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store.”
The same survey also asked about a recent comment made by former White House adviser Stephen Miller, who said, “We have seen, over the last nine months, an ongoing legal insurrection in which district court judges … have issued rulings that are flagrantly unlawful and unconstitutional.”
Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters say they agree with Miller’s statement, including 38% who say they strongly agree. Thirty-one percent (31%) say they disagree, including 30% who strongly disagree. Thirteen percent (13%) say they are not sure.
The poll surveyed 991 likely voters from July 3–8, 2025, and carries a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.

Yes, exactly correct. If democrat cities can’t or won’t do it then the national guard will and must. Just read the headlines, the citizens living in those cities are very happy with a safer city where they can walk about without fear of being attacked, robbed, or even worse killed.
You must also blame these liberal judges who don’t enact stricter punishment on some of those repeat offenders. Their repeat because they choose to be!! Remove them from society!! Tired of second, third, forth and fifth chances being given by judges who haven’t a clue to the damage these criminals do. They go home to their fancy expensive homes, outside city limits. Probably with a escort too.
