The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national survey shows that two-thirds of voters approve of the deal to end the government shutdown, and nearly half see Republicans as the political beneficiary.
President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed legislation to reopen the government, ending a 43-day shutdown that began in October when Senate Democrats first filibustered a spending bill that had been approved by the House of Representatives.
A majority of voters express support for how the shutdown was resolved. Sixty-seven percent (67%) say they approve of the decision to end the shutdown, including 44% who strongly approve.
Meanwhile, 24% say they disapprove of the deal, including 11% who strongly disapprove. Another 10% are not sure.
When asked who benefited most politically, 49% of voters say Republicans gained the most from the shutdown’s end. Just 18% say Democrats benefited most, while 33% are undecided.
The survey of 1,128 likely US voters was conducted November 10-12, 2025. The margin of error is ±3 percentage points.

Thats not the way I see things at all !! Personally I don’t give a dam about polls & what people thing. The bottom line is congress and senate are a bunch of losers. You think they care about you or I? If I had my way I’d hope most of them up for reelection next year LOOSE! We need people who will represent the people. To the clowns in DC its a game of cat and mouse. Measured by wins and looses. The real losers are the citizens WHO PUT YOU THERE. So grown up babies and DO YOUR JOB.
