The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
Four out of five voters say they believe corruption is a problem in Washington, D.C., but opinions are divided over which party is best suited to address it.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national survey finds that 80% of likely US voters say they believe the federal government is corrupt, including 44% who say they believe it is very corrupt. Just 14% say they don’t think there’s much corruption in Washington.
When asked who they trust more to handle issues of government corruption and reform, 43% say they trust Democrats more, while 41% say they trust Republicans. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.
Seventy-six percent (76%) of voters say they agree that federal agencies like the FBI and CIA need major reform, including 45% who say they strongly agree. Seventeen percent (17%) say they disagree.
Among those who say the government is very corrupt, 65% say they strongly agree that the FBI and CIA need major reform. A majority (52%) of this group say they trust Democrats more to handle corruption and reform.
Eighty percent (80%) of Republicans say they at least somewhat agree that federal agencies need major reform, as do 71% of Democrats and 75% of unaffiliated voters.
Forty-nine percent (49%) of Democrats say they believe the federal government is very corrupt, compared to 39% of Republicans and 45% of unaffiliated voters.
Not surprisingly, 78% of Democrats say they trust their own party more to handle corruption and reform, while 77% of Republican voters say they trust the GOP more. Among unaffiliated voters, 37% say they trust Republicans more, 36% say they trust Democrats more, and 27% are unsure.
The survey of 1,155 likely US voters was conducted November 13 and 16–17, 2025. The margin of error is ±3 percentage points.

“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”—– Benjamin Franklin 1787
Off topic but no where else to post: For the record in response to current poll here for “Best Thanksgiving Food”, nothing tops my own Italian hybrid turkey stuffing:
(Amounts to your own taste) Sauté chopped onions, celery, three cloves of fresh garlic, salt, pepper, and commericial poultry dressing spices in one stick of butter for about 20 minutes, low heat until soft and flavors “sweated” into the butter.
Prepare cubed bread for stuffing -I use Orowheat Honey Wheat bread, or use a bag of regular stuffing cubes, , sprinkle with one half cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese. pour over the bread cube and cheese, the garlic infused butter, mix it up and stuff into the turkey. (Caution: Never stuff the turkey before actually getting ready to roast it, for proper food sanitation.)
No one will figure out it was the garlic and the parmesan cheese creating the most flavorful turkey stuffing ever.
Then when finishing the real turkey gravy from pan drippings, add a few small swigs of very good balsamic vinegar to top it off and make it haunting as well . Manga bene.
yes and 90 % of that is democrat’s. think to have voter ID would all but shut down the dnc party .cheeting and stilling is the only way they can win
I could never understand why states would not consider term limits for congress! Until that happens, nothing will never change.

In his farewell address to the nation, George Washington warned of the danger of political parties. And, here we are. The Constitution was designed for “moral and religious people”. It was based on the values of Western Civilization. It was designed for citizen participation. Today, the system is corrupted from top to bottom. Who
can vote and when is all over the charts, candidates are selected by political parties, states rights have been usurped by the 17th amendment so that we have basically 2 sets of Representatives and no true Senate. The political parties are in a state of constant political warfare and all decisions in Congress are made on the basis of what is best for the party, writing the citizen out of the equation. Communists infect every branch and every department. And the biggest problem is that the founders created a Republic, not a democracy (try to find the word “democracy” anywhere in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, the Bill of Rights or the Pledge of Allegiance. There is a reason it is not there. Ever since the ratification of the Constitution, there has been a constant push by left leaning factions to convert the Republic to a democracy. That is the problem.
Republicans or Democrats, it doesn’t matter.
I think every member in congress and senate are inside traders in a secret club.
How do you become millionaires and multi-millionaires on their salary.
Every member should be forced to make public their income tax filings each and every year.
Lets see where and how the money is being made. It’s dam sure not through hard work.
