(POLL) Slim majority says the Senate should keep the filibuster

A slight majority of respondents say the Senate should not eliminate the filibuster.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.

Fifty-two percent (52%) say the Senate should keep the filibuster in place.

Forty-five percent (45%) say they support doing away with it entirely.

Three percent (3%) say they want the filibuster removed only when Democrats are in charge.

These results show a modest but clear preference for preserving the filibuster as a procedural tool.
