Top BBC executives resign amid backlash over Trump speech editing

The following is from Just The News.

Two top executives at the BBC have resigned as the network reportedly prepares to apologize for editing former President Donald Trump’s Jan. 6, 2021, speech.

According to reports, BBC Director General Tim Davie and Chief Executive of News Deborah Turness have stepped down. Davie stated, “This is entirely my decision, and I remain very thankful to the Chair and Board for their unswerving and unanimous support throughout my entire tenure, including during recent days.”

The BBC has faced criticism over what some say is bias, including in the way it edited Trump’s remarks from that day.

The outlet is expected to issue a formal apology for the edit.

  1. While I cannot guarantee what you might get offered if you’re successful with them, my research suggests around $30 USD per hour for those based in Asia/India, and around $30-40 USD per hour for those based in Europe and UK / US / Australia / New Zealand. Re : Journalistic Corruption to Aid Rodney King

    Where were you guys—when ABC
    boldly/cowardly/evilly altered the
Rodney King video tape (( Dear Abby
bravely CORRECTED it in one of
    her newspaper columns )) ?

To this day, MSM has not corrected
their EVIL alteration and told the
    TRUTH about it.
