The following is from Gallup News.
Just 36% of Americans say they approve of the way President Donald Trump is handling his job – the lowest mark of his second term. Sixty percent (60%) say they disapprove. Gallup’s latest survey shows the drop follows three months of relative stability, when approval hovered between 40% and 41%.
The poll was conducted Nov. 3-25 and overlapped with two major developments: a series of off-year election wins for Democrats and what became the longest federal government shutdown in US history, which ended Nov. 12.

Republicans and independents both show significant declines in their support for Trump. Eighty-four percent (84%) of Republicans now say they approve, down seven points from the prior month. Among independents, approval has fallen eight points to 25%—the lowest of either of Trump’s terms. Just 3% of Democrats say they approve.
Trump performs better on some individual issues. They say 43% approve of his handling of crime, 41% of foreign affairs, 39% of foreign trade, and 37% of immigration. But approval is weaker on other key areas: 36% for the economy, 33% for the Middle East, 31% for the federal budget, 31% for Ukraine, and just 30% for healthcare.
Compared to earlier in the year, approval has eroded on several fronts. They say support has dropped nine points on immigration, seven on the Middle East, and six on the economy since February. Since March, approval is down 12 points on the federal budget and 10 on Ukraine.
They report that large majorities of Republicans, between 67% and 88%, say they approve of Trump’s handling of the nine surveyed issues. However, Ukraine and healthcare receive the lowest marks. Among independents, approval ranges from 22% to 38%, while no more than 8% of Democrats approve of his handling on any issue.
Congress isn’t faring much better. Just 14% of Americans say they approve of the way Congress is handling its job – virtually unchanged from 15% in October. Eighty percent (80%) now say they disapprove. Republican support for the Republican-led Congress has plunged from 54% in September to 23%. Fifteen percent (15%) of independents and 4% of Democrats say they approve.
They say recent Republican election losses, growing affordability concerns, and shrinking support among independents and their own base are weighing down Trump’s approval numbers, as he approaches the lowest rating recorded during his first term.

Polls are generally useless. The questions are slanted and don’t call for a genuine response, for the most part. I’m a registered democrat for reasons too hard to explain and I’ve never voted and never will vote for any democrat. As for me, I’ll just say that Trump has been a huge disappointment in most areas. I expected him to do as he promised during the campaign: get us out of Ukraine and don’t start any new bs wars. I hoped he would get serious about doge and cutting spending. He’s failed in those areas, hugely. After “no taxes on tips” and letting RFK Jr. rejigger the FDA Trump has repeatedly crapped the bed. And as far as the next voting cycle is concerned, if those who will be running in those elections don’t hue to the Massie agenda, they don’t have a chance in hell of getting my vote.
This “Poll” tells me all I need to know about the source ……. Gallup.
Polling and poll questions are a psyop in and of itself. Disapproval? Immigration? Give me a break, Gallup. Perhaps the drop is due to foot dragging by District judges. Maybe by so-called sanctuary cities. Maybe by disgraceful rock throwing, paid performers. Or is it inflammatory rhetoric by elected Democrats. Or all of the above. Maybe Maga supporters are frustrated by Trump Admin following the courts orders while waiting for SCOTUS decisions. Either way, I know no one in my rather large circle that disapproves in any way.
