HHS moves to block gender surgeries and hormones for minors

The following is from Just The News.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced a set of proposed regulations that would block hospitals from performing gender surgeries and related treatments on minors.

The restrictions target irreversible procedures such as surgeries, puberty blockers, and hormone treatments. HHS says these interventions can cause “irreversible damage,” including infertility, impaired sexual function, diminished bone density, and altered brain development.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the action follows President Trump’s earlier executive order calling for an end to such practices.

“Under my leadership, and answering President Trump’s call to action, the federal government will do everything in its power to stop unsafe, irreversible practices that put our children at risk,” Kennedy stated.
