  1. This was helpful and confirmed my long held suspicions about the integrity of other stories masquerading as legitimate news on the network. Sharon Alfonse is a known prevaricator from previous pieces she has reported and failed to correct on the record. It does not surprise that you have found her current reportage to be substandard. Meantime, I appreciate the measured tone and extended analysis you have provided from what you saw. Far from the ‘political bias’ claimed by Alfonse, it appears that Ms. Weiss was correct to halt the broadcast simply from a journalistic standards point-of-view.

  2. The truth is 60 minutes has no more credibility.
When the introduction is all about “I’M bla bla bla” parading their face & name is important to a “news channel”
I quit watching long ago. We know who you are yet they have to remind everyone who they are. I get much more accurate information just by watching “real” posts on X about whats happening around the world. It’s raw & unfiltered. That’s news, not the polished version being pushed out.

  3. The difference between a professional independent journalist with proven integrity and a television news bureau with not just recent incidents of bias and unfairness on their resume. There is a record that goes back 20 years to Dan Rather and former reporter Bernard Kalb’s best seller “Bias.”
