Bondi announces arrests tied to anti-immigration enforcement protest at Minnesota church

The following is from Just the News.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that two people have been arrested in connection with an anti-immigration enforcement protest that disrupted a church service in Minnesota.

“Minutes ago at my direction, @HSI_HQ and @FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota,” Bondi posted on X. “So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.”

Bondi said authorities would continue providing updates and warned that attacks on religious institutions will not be tolerated.

“Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP,” she wrote.

In a follow-up post, Bondi announced a second arrest.

“UPDATE: A second arrest has been made at my direction. Chauntyll Louisa Allen has been taken into custody. More to come. WE WILL PROTECT OUR HOUSES OF WORSHIP,” Bondi said.

The arrests stem from an incident Sunday in which protesters entered a service at Cities Church in St. Paul. A local official with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement serves as the church’s pastor.
