(POLL) 61% say government should regulate AI

The following is from Rasmussen Reports.

Most likely US voters say the government should regulate artificial intelligence technology, and many believe the rise of AI could reduce job opportunities for human workers, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey.

Sixty-one percent (61%) say they believe the government needs to regulate artificial intelligence technology. Twenty-five percent (25%) say the government should stay out of the way and let the free market decide how artificial intelligence develops, while 13% say they are not sure.

Voters also express concern about the potential impact of artificial intelligence on employment. Sixty-two percent (62%) say AI will mean fewer job opportunities for human workers. Thirteen percent (13%) say AI will create more job opportunities, while 11% say it will not have much impact and 14% are not sure.

Voters are closely divided over which political party they trust more to deal with issues related to artificial intelligence. Forty-one percent (41%) say they trust Republicans more to handle AI-related issues, while 40% say they trust Democrats more. Nineteen percent (19%) say they are not sure.

The survey of 1,030 likely US voters was conducted February 26 and March 1–2, 2026. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

At the MINIMUM, any artistic AI output should have a visible LABEL. Music, voices , film, shorts, animations, ads, all of it. Same with papers written.

    Re : PLEASE,
guys, which type of government ?

    Which “government” ?
    —those federal judges ( called “Black-Robed Wh_res” ) who
are ( Libertine/Liberal/Commie ), activist, men and women
making/creating new laws from their High & Mighty bench ?; e.g.,
as with Supreme Court Justice John Roberts’ High & Mighty Un-
Democratic and Un-Constitutional rulin against Virginia voters’
D-e-m-o-c-r-a-t-i-c WILL, who had overwhelmingly established
    – into law – marriage to be O-N-L-Y between a man and a woman ?

[ Roberts is seriously compromised. How ?—sexually ? ]

    Or, “We-the-People” self-government ?,
destroyed by Marxian Abraham Lincoln, who stole his
place in the White House; and, then, he had followed/
obeyed the 1848 commie revolutionaries escaping
Europe, after their failed Europe-wide revolt ( called
    the “Forty-Eighters” ) who commanded/influenced
Abe Lincoln ( the truth about his and General
Sherman’s war against our Founders’/Framers’ system
of constitutional Self-Government may never be
    broadly known ).

  3. Leave AI alone. It’s like anything else that government rules – corruption will take it away from us and, funnel taxpayer money to corruptocrats. We lose in the end.
