The following is from Rasmussen Reports.
Most likely US voters say the US military operation against Iran has been successful so far, although many have doubts about America’s military alliance with Israel, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey.
Sixty-one percent (61%) of likely US voters say that, based on what they know, the military operation against Iran has been successful so far, including 35% who say it has been very successful. Twenty-nine percent (29%) say the Iran war has not been successful so far, including 12% who say it has not been successful at all. Eleven percent (11%) say they are not sure.
The US and Israel jointly launched attacks against Iran on February 28. Forty-four percent (44%) of voters say the US military alliance with Israel is good for America, while 36% say it is not good for America and 20% say they are not sure.
Most voters say they have been closely following news about the conflict. Eighty-one percent (81%) say they have followed news reports about the war against Iran, including 49% who say they have followed it very closely. Seventeen percent (17%) say they have not closely followed the news.
Voters are divided on who they see as America’s biggest enemy. Twenty-five percent (25%) say China is America’s biggest enemy, while 16% say Russia. Nine percent (9%) say Iran is America’s biggest enemy.
The survey of 1,098 likely US voters was conducted March 8–10, 2026. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

I guess what/how one defines “successful”? It seems to me Iran still has the ability to launch rockets at will against any target they choose in the area. That tells me their missile launch systems aren’t being destroyed completely. I see the problem as mobile launchers, launch and move before targeted and destroyed. How does Israel/USA win with that type of missle system?
I would be in the 61% camp not only believing the conflict is going well for the US but that the strike was justified. China is the greater threat, Russia less so as Putin is occupied with Ukraine. If Iran had gotten nuclear capability that would be an equalizer possibly making Iran the greater threat being as the theocracy is hell bent on destroying Israel and the US. NKorea remains a constant thorn but are leashed by China for now.
