The event was moderated by Chelsea Clinton and organized by Unity Consortium, a group backed by pharmaceutical companies and pro-vaccine organizations. Sponsors included vaccine makers GSK, Merck and Sanofi, along with major tech and media companies.
During the discussion, panelists raised concerns about increasing numbers of parents and teens questioning vaccine safety, attributing the trend to wider access to information online.

Leslie Manookian, founder of the Health Freedom Defense Fund, said more parents are seeking information outside traditional sources as trust declines.
Panelists also raised concerns about the influence of organizations they say contribute to vaccine skepticism, including Children’s Health Defense.
A separate discussion referenced a Texas measles case and debate over how such cases are reported and interpreted.
Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., said some claims made during the panel misrepresented both the timeline and underlying facts.
