Most respondents say they are better off today than when President Donald Trump was elected.
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Seventy-eight percent (78%) say they are better off than when Trump was elected.
Ten percent (10%) say they are about the same.
Twelve percent (12%) say they are worse off than when Trump was elected.
The results indicate that a strong majority of respondents believe their circumstances have improved since Trump’s election, while about one in five say they are either no better off or worse off.

For me the question smacks of ‘I-Me-Mine’ = ‘as long as I’m ok who cares about those in need’. . .or the very fact that homelessness persists, and foreclosures remain on track while people cannot afford to pay the costs associated with the basic maintenance requirements of any homeowner (insurance rates etc).
This: Total foreclosure filings for 2025 reached 367,460 properties nationwide, according to ATTOM. This marked a notable increase from 2024, representing 0.26% of all U.S. housing units. Thus “better off” is a relative term and signifies: ‘I got mine… to hell with all the other losers!’

A very misleading headline, something one would expect of the legacy media. My first thought was that 78% say they were better off before trump, on reread saw that it implies since Trump was elected. Need better editor.
I don’t like the question. Elected when? Be specific…better off now than in January 2025. I had to read it twice to understand what they were asking.
