A former State Department diplomat made a startling allegation: Hillary Clinton confidants were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.

At last word, no law enforcement body had reached out to the State Department official, Raymond Maxwell, who said he witnessed the basement operation; and the State Department had not indicated interest in obtaining details from him.

  2. Is the penultimate paragraph on page 2 of Rep. Gowdy’s 10/7/15 letter to Rep. Cummings a reference to the allegations of Mr. Maxwell? Maybe the Benghazi Committee will bring us some clarity when it report is made public. Mr. Maxwell put himself at great risk by revealing this extracurricular document dump and, like you, I am curious why we haven’t seen anything more from law enforcement or the State Dept. or the press or……
