Justice Dept., DEA “Obstruct” Probe into “Candy Man” Doc after Veteran Deaths
Investigating the Wisconsin Veterans Affairs hospital where vets were allegedly prescribed drugs “like candy”– and where there have been allegations of illegal drug dealing– has been made difficult by federal agencies that are stonewalling Congress. That’s according to a Congressional report out today. It also says that despite the fact that Congress has oversight over the matters at issue, the feds have indicated they will not comply with a Congressional subpoena. The interim report was issued by the Republican majority staff on the Senate committee investigating.
