WONDERFUL BOOK, STONEWALLED! I just had to express my admiration for your book. Of course I personally could read thousands of pages on Benghazi, Hillary, etc. But when you went into other subjects and the politics and machinations of the “news?” people, you never lost me for even one word! We need someone like you for President; PLEASE RUN! 🙂

Your chosen candidate or not – Trump is becoming the conduit, the means for American’s to voice their angry screams of disgust over our corrupt crony capitalist government. The time is beyond late, it is now or never for the country. Trump is fed up, the country is fed up, and with his help it is our last chance to stick it to the oligarchs and “Bring America Back” to the people. Let’s all hope and pray he is locked on this time around to go all the way. When you stop and think about it, his age and personality (too old to give a damn) and financial independence from the Uniparty bosses are the only way to break their backs. All they have is money and ridicule to control the candidates. With Trump, neither one works. This includes the MSM. And it is sooo satisfying to watch the bastards squirm.

Trump actually has a more sane foreign policy vis-a-vis Russia than Obama. All Obama wants to do is poke the bear into a corner over a Nazi coup we funded. The media is outright lying about Crimea, which was a free self-determination plebiscite, the same as Scotlands. Yet they persist in calling it an invasion.

Poking the nuclear bear in their own backyard, when we went nuts over Cuba, is Not a good idea. Trump says he’d deal with Putin. Obama just threatens and insults him. His foreign policy stinks.

Crony capitalism? Trump IS crony capitalism. He buys politicians, he’s said so in interviews.

      • Paul Kersey
        May 3, 2016 at 11:19 am #

From what I know of the definition of crony-capitalism it’s only considered that when the product or service is less than the best available. This would not be the case if the Trump organization won a contract because we all know his organization provides world-class products and services.

      • Ted Yost
        July 6, 2016 at 10:18 am #

The point Mr. Greenbaum, is that the politicians are for sale, everyone buys them. It is that part of the system that needs to be fixed. Term limits for Senators, and Congress would be an excellent place to start

Stumbled on the Trump/Post article and it is a fantastic piece of journalism. The media in this country is at a scary level as far as the amount of power they have over the public. They can, and do everything they can to impact mainstream opinion of everything from baby mice to something as important as a presidential election.

Here is a story for you to check on:

Why did Richard Blum – owner CRI – husband of Diane (different name for a reason) Feinstein (liberal Democrat Senator ( who also supports Sanctuary Cities – San Francisco ) get the non-bid exclusive contract for selling 56 Postal Properties (estimated worth – $19 Billion) deemed no longer needed. These properties bought by Taxpayer monies and owned by Postal Service.(which has lost $1197 in the last 10 Years). He will be paid commission from 2% to 6% and will potentially have a commission value of $950 million to $1.1 billion.
    Corruption at its best.

Frank, you need to get your facts correct before posting. Here is a blurp from

It is true that Richard Blum has a financial relationship with the real estate firm contracted to sell United States Postal Service properties. However, this viral email gets some details — including the name of the real estate company — wrong.
In July 2011, the Postal Service entered into an exclusive contract with the real estate firm CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. (CBRE) to sell surplus Postal Service properties. Blum, Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s husband, is the chairman of the company’s board of directors. As a member of the board of directors, he received $157,000 in cash and stock awards from CBRE Group in 2012. His investment firm, Blum Capital Partners, L.P., is also the real estate firm’s fifth largest institutional shareholder. As of May 2013, it held more than 15 million shares worth an estimated $3 billion. However, this amounts to about 4.5 percent of CBRE Group’s total shares. CBRE Group is the largest commercial real estate firm in the world. Its Postal Service contract is responsible for a fraction of that revenue, and just a fraction of that fraction is passed on to shareholders.
The email suggests Feinstein — described as a “powerful U.S. Senator from San Francisco” — misused her office to secure a “sweet deal” for her husband. But there is no evidence of that.
Sue Brennan, a Postal Service spokeswoman, told us in an email that seven firms participated in a competitive bidding process. She said the Postal Service chose CBRE Group because it “was the contractor with the best overall organization, capability and experience.”
Feinstein’s spokesman, Brian Weiss, addressed questions about the contract in a February 2013 article in the San Francisco Chronicle:

        March 25, 2016 at 11:04 am #

Terri, Mr. Blum’s company was awarded a sweet deal for rebuilding some of Iraq’s infrastructure after being invaded. Coincidence? This real estate deal with the USPO might produce only a “fraction” of the company’s revenue, but a fraction of a fraction of multi-billions of dollars in real estate sales is still going to be a whopper of a dividend. The amount isn’t important; what matters is the fact that Blum repeatedly gets the inside scoop on big deals because his wife is one of the old cronies inside the beltway. That is not a coincidence.

Hello, Mrs. Attkisson – my name is Mike Gibbons. I’m a disabled/retired New York State Court Officer that was selectively persecuted just for requesting a transfer to a workplace closer to home after being diagnosed with major illnesses that eventually required major surgery. I was refused that lawful transfer, exasperating my already serious conditions, and that violates the Federal ADA which requires that an accommodation be granted and this should be looked into. I have coveted information about how the NYS Office of Court Administration takes it’s marching orders from a corrupt, Union President and local politician. A clear violation of AFL/CIO national and local rules. I can promise a ground shaking scandal within city/state politics with this information. Please consider helping me in my quest for justice. Thank you so much.

Excellent report this morning. As a Florida Gator and former long time resident of Longboat Key I take special pleasure in your success. One of your viewers suggested that you expose the incestuous relationships between doctors and big pharm. Working in positions that included Secretary of Florida HRS and Professor and Director of the FSU Institute of Health and Human Services Research I further suggest that you dig a little deeper to find the facilitators of the sordid public rip off. Check out the role of the Pharma lobbyists AKA bundlers. Look into their gifts to Universities and their affiliates. See how these power brokers place their friends on policy making board to influence outcomes. See how they act to stifle critical reports. Examine the use of reactions meds to define behavioral disorders. Check out the use of powerful reputable inhibitors with non FDA approved groups, eg children. Government approved MH we vices provide just enough money so the only MH function a provider can perform is to write a
Prescription. On the other hand, any pediatrician can prescribe a med , and often his own soup of powerful meds without my special trading. Psychiatrists admit that the human brain is largely unexplored yet they continue pour.chemicals into brains that they don’t understand. Sorry for the rant.

As a Veterans Widow since 1996 and Georgia Whistleblower since 2008 following 15 years of dedicated and “exceeds expectations” annual evaluations, I was terminated just 9 days following my submitting in writing my refusal to cross criminal, fiscal and ethical lines requested for three years by the college president. The evidence of malfeasance by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (a.k.a. “The Southern Mafia”) is confirmed in Depositions, Affidavits and Discovery documents and kept sealed from public view by Georgia’s State Attorney General Sam Olens who filed four “Responses in Opposition” to their release via lifting of Protective Orders. I have copies of all the sealed documents. I was told by a source, The Atlanta Journal “cannot touch my story.” Jeff Chirico, formerly with CBS Atlanta, brought his camera team to Macon and released one of many other investigative reports:

We commend you, Sharyl, and ask you to consider meeting with me, Sabrina Smith (Statewide Chairman of Georgia Watchdogs), et al. Three requests have been submitted to Georgia Governor Nathan Deal to appoint a Special Investigator given the “Conflict of Interest” by Attorney General Sam Olens. Governor Deal will not respond.

I can’t verbalize the extent to which I respect the Journalistic Ethics you displayed by quitting the CBS News Network due to its biased editorial positions. You have so many Journalistic awards that you know, of course, you’ll be swept off the market very quickly by a the type of network which reports, not edortalizes or ignores legitimate important stories, as well as for among the reasons mentioned above. It’s all about your employer not consistently trying to be part of the story rather than reporting it and letting us, the great unwashed, arrive at our own conclusions. Why does Hillary Clinton support my Human Rights Abuse?
In 8 years of writing not one Journalist or Gov member has ever contacted me or reported me. Hillary Clinton who does not have one idea better than mine continues to ignore my ideas. Why?

About 8 years ago in Sydney my life became a living Hell- without my consent or any warning. The ANZ Bank in Australia illegally evicted me from my homes without any notice – one home was only £3500 in arrears the other £7000. Who gets evicted for that small amount? All my poetry, my story Angel, my ideas, stories, songs and fashion designs and concepts were, I was told, stolen and copied and millions made out of them and me. The Australian Gov will not let me have my home, or 5 years of writing and all my possessions unless I go back to prove who I am. My business Sydney Boat Sales which I had operated for 12 years suddenly lost all its customers and all the boats were removed from my marina on Sydney Harbor. Now for the third time in 3 years I am being told I have to have my Mental Health assessed as I am considered to be a physical threat to David Cameron. How? With what? I live at home looking after my 87 year old mum.

This is what happens when we are being led by disfunctional people like the Clintons. They will break the laws and everyone else is the fall guy. The Clintons don’t set the standards to work for America because for a long time, they have looked out for themselves. They are weasels. Look at the reputation of UN Ambassador Rice and now Lynch, the Clintons ambushed their credentials. Is hillary really working to improve the working status of women? No!

Although there is no doubt that Ms. Attkisson is an investigative reporter of the highest caliber and that her TEDx talk was insightful, it’s also glaringly apparent that she favors right wing politicians. Her interview with Trump was a exhibition of weak journalism absent of any substantial inquiry for which she is known. During the interview, Trump washes over a sweeping range of domestic and foreign policy issues that are so outlandish that they approached the absurd. Not once did Ms. Attkisson press Trump for specifics. For instance, when referring to Trumps comments on North Korea and our troops stationed there and his “plan” to remove them or have the South Korean’s pay for the costs, she didn’t follow up with what ramifications might result if the troops were pulled or if we, as a government set a a policy of “pay for play” military presence. Those troops are there for US security first and foremost. When she asked Trump to explain his comments on punishing women for getting an abortion, she accepted his wishy washy explanation without pressing him on whether “punishment” was even legal if abortion is legal. She accepted his glossed over explanation about his use of the word “punishment” was really equated with the stress that a woman endures during such a procedure. Truly pathetic. Her interview with Trump was clearly sympathetic to her personal political views and proves the point that if someone does not stand up to a person who makes repeated racist and bigoted statements, they are, themselves complicit with racism and bigotry. Ms. Attkisson’s show was also wrought with sound technical difficulties and points to a show that is being run by amateurs and speaks to her ineptitude within the political investigative arena. In short, her interview was sympathetic to Trump’s rise because, she did not demand specifics to what are truly frightening proposals for a Trump administration. Ms. Attkisson should stick to her strong suit of investigative reporting on the pharma industry and leave the serious political journalism to those that are not so blatantly biased in their political leanings. Her interview with Trump was a sad effort to kick start a show that is clearly DOA and destined to flounder in the lower depths of right wing internet, sub-par programming.
