The Saudi Connection: 28 Pages from 9/11 report

28 Pages

Last fall, we first reported on the mysterious, still-secret 28 Pages from the Congressional investigation into the Islamic extremist terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. They issue is back in the news as President Obama visits Saudi Arabia to meet with leaders, and Congress pushes a bipartisan bill to allow 9/11 victims to hold Saudi Arabia liable for alleged terrorist support in the attacks. Why does President Obama oppose release of the pages and the proposed bill to let terrorist-supporting nations be sued in U.S. courts? We’ll have a report.

We’ll also report on Senator Lindsey Graham’s idea for a Marshall Plan for today’s terrorist reality. He’s proposing spending huge money in the Mideast war-torn nations –but with strings attached to ensure appropriate behavior. He says “pay now or pay later,” that if the West doesn’t make a large investment now, it will suffer consequences in the form of more terrorist attacks in the U.S. and a Mideast that is completely hostile to American interests.

I’ll also update my ongoing saga in trying to get the federal government to respond to various Freedom of Information Act requests. Federal agencies are required, under law, to provide material within about 30 days of the request. Wait until you hear how long it took for me to get two bundles of documents from two federal agencies.

And the youth vote: how important are millennials to the Presidential candidates?

  1. Thank goodness Israeli dual-citizens are not being blamed for the destruction of Israel’s neighbors and the Trillions of dollars transferred from U.S. working taxpayers to Wall Street-owned military corporations to fund the ‘war on terror’ that 9/11 justified.
