Sad the Government isn’t run like a business. Profit and loss statements, cost and benefit analysis.
The easiest way to stop the excessive spending (it may shut down the government). Each expenditure must be voted on to see it’s real value. No lumping of projects into one big budget to be approved. Now they want to bring back “earmark projects”.
Let’s just add to the over spending by adding pet projects.
It is pretty clear that the us government is morally and financially corrupt! Don’t think it will stop until we can’t borrow anymore money! It want stop then until they have completely destroy the dollar and the country by continuing to print worthless bills!
Remember years ago the subject of the government paying $600. for a toilet seat for one of the military planes? I remember that but today it would probably be $6000. and it would be paid. Who cares right? It’s not their money. Its only tax payers money.

Was Afghanistan considered a war zone during this period? Does all spending come from Department of Defense for a war zone? What about the CIA?
Where is the GAO? A good auditor would identify who approved the projects.
Why are our representatives silent on this waste?
