Dr. O’Neill should be kept as far away from pandemic policy making as possible. Anyone who suggests that the congress should declare war on a virus is insane. He wants to trust the government with a national response to a pandemic—the same government that suppressed information about cheap off-label treatments, mandated vaccines that don’t work, and smeared scientists who questioned Covid policy, He also thinks it would be just fine to lose our constitutional rights during a response, and thinks it would be easy to restore those rights. He may know a lot about cardiology, but his knowledge of government and history are abysmal.

And what of MY constitutional rights during the pandemic, or those of the 21,215 veterans like me who died of COVID? In order to avoid all those “freedoms-loving patriots” who refused on account of the abysmal ignorance they, themselves demonstrated daily here online to wear a mask, maintain a scientifically- prescribed distance, or be vaccinated, I was unable to leave my house for more than two years. Had it been a mass-shooter, the mass immigration of infected illegal aliens, or the like, how would what all the playground Patrick Henry’s did to me be different? P.S. When I had finally bought two Rottweiler “companion dogs” and designed and produced a di-electrostatic (do you know what that is and why it’s effective), I DID go about in public – but what gave or gives you the right to imprison or put me under house arrest?
I disagree with his premise that national responses to pandemics should be formulated under “war” actions. That is largely what happened in the COVID-19 pandemic. Much of what was mandated utilized bad data and bad policy in my opinion. How do you keep bad actors (intentional or otherwise) from being in control? I totally agree with him that we needed better and unbiased data. Like the AIDS epidemic, it took time to develop tests (which had their limitations) and gather meaningful data. The lack of real scientific analysis of the empirical data and over reliance on modelling and generalizations led to mistakes. I don’t think that we have as much of a representative democracy as he does, for sure: look at how the people who opposed mandates were crushed in the COVID-19 pandemic. The “scientific” biases of leaders in government advisory roles lead to a deserved labelling of the CDC as “The Centers for Deceiving Citizens” at times, and because they can never admit errors, they tend to dig in. All treatments should be analyzed with specificity regarding who, what, where, why, when and how. It’s hard for government agencies WHO want blanket cookbook approaches to problems to facilitate hospital protocols and billing procedures to deal with these complexities and while individual doctors and individual patients may wish to make independent decisions, that is no longer possible in a country where such a high percentage of the population is on Medicare/Medicaid, private insurers are conjoined with government health insurance and big insurers go along. We all work for the government directly or indirectly anymore. Maybe the government can better allow independent studies, but not under “war”.
Well Sharyl that interview was a disaster and certainly not what we expect from you. What went wrong? Ill prepared or just lazy? Any how I think you need to redeem yourself and interview DANIEL R. WATKINS attorney in California who has done considerable amount of investigations into the hospital treatments for covid, especially the use of the deadly Remdesivir. He probably will give you a better insight into how much hospitals were making off the use of that deadly drug and now the lawsuits are in the making. If there is such a thing as VAIDS, being Vaccine Auto Immune Deficiency Syndrome, then people should be aware what they have been opened up to.

AIDS victims are often exposed to Pneumocystis carinii (jirovecii) which is a yeast like fungus. A bit like the candida that has affected so many hospitals in the US.
