(POLL) Foods grown with or containing known neurotoxins (which is most of them) should have a warning label

Ninety-eight percent (98%) say that food grown with or containing known neurotoxins, carcinogens, hormone disruptors, etc. should require warnings on advertisements and labels.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.

More than 50% of thousands of domestic and imported foods tested by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had detectable levels of at least one pesticide, according to an FDA report released in 2020.

Among 185 different pesticides found on the food samples, some of the most frequently detected include the brain-damaging chlorpyrifos, and several neonicotinoids, or neonics, a family of insecticides known to be toxic to bees and other pollinators.

Very high levels of the herbicide glyphosate, some of which violate legal limits, were detected in chickpeas, lentils, beans, and oats and other grains.

Previous testing by the Environmental Working Group has uncovered extensive presence of glyphosate in these food items, as well as one violation of the legal limit for the chemical on food.

Currently there are no federal requirements for food manufacturers to label their products regarding any type of pesticide usage.
