Sunday on Full Measure– the most costly wildfire the feds have ever battled is still raging out west. Lisa Fletcher takes us behind the scenes to look at the battle over funding. The U.S. Forest Service is now spending most of its budget fighting fires and says it doesn’t have enough yet to do its other functions, including restoring forest land after it burns.
I’ll have an interview with Donald Trump as the Republican candidate prepares for Monday night’s debate. I caught up with him at a campaign stop in Estero, Florida. (Hillary Clinton declined our interview request but there’s an open invitation and we’re hoping she’ll change her mind.) I asked him about his rocky relationship with the press and the investigation into Trump Foundation.
Speaking of debates, Scott Thuman will have a look at the history of debates and some of those memorable moments that have made or broken a candidate.
