Dr. Anthony Fauci has agreed to appear before the 118th Congress for the first time for a two-day, private transcribed interview on Jan. 8 and 9, 2024. Additionally, Fauci has agreed to testify in front of the Select Subcommittee at a public hearing later next year. That’s according to the chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The full terms of his testimony are detailed below.

Attendance by two personal and two government counsel
A public hearing at a date to be named later
Wenstrup stated, “It is time for Dr. Fauci to confront the facts and address the numerous controversies that have arisen during and after the pandemic. Americans deserve trusted public health leaders who prioritize the well-being of our people over any personal or political goals. Thankfully, retirement from public service does not shield one from Congressional oversight nor accountability to the American people. During Dr. Fauci’s upcoming testimonies, honesty is non-negotiable.”
Previously, the Select Subcommittee revealed evidence that Fauci was behind the drafting of the now infamous “Proximal Origin” publication in an attempt to disprove the idea that Covid came from a Chinese lab.
Fauci then citied the paper at a White House briefing as if were from an independent authority, without disclosing his involvement in prompting the publication. He also failed to disclose his own role in spending taxpayer money on controversial “gain of function” bat coronavirus research at the very Chinese lab implicated in the leak or release of Covid.
