(POLL) Few worried about bird flu

Ninety-six percent (96%) say they are not afraid of the bird flu.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkissson.com.

Just one percent (1%) say they are afraid of bird flu, while 3% say they are unsure about it.

Earlier this month, a dairy worker in Texas tested positive for bird flu amid an outbreak of the virus among dairy cattle.

It’s the first time this virulent strain of bird flu — referred to as highly pathogenic H5N1 — has been detected in cows, and the first documented cow-to-human transmission of an avian influenza virus, according to CDC. It’s also only the second case of bird flu in a person in the US.

The CDC’s overall risk assessment for the general public remains low. The agency says there is no evidence of person-to-person transmission.

CDC is preparing for potential new pandemics even as it has failed to implement meaningful reforms after the government’s disastrous mishandling of Covid-19.

  1. The scammers tried this before in 2005-2006 to scare people about the bird flu documented in the book “The Great Bird Flu Hoax”, The Truth They Don’t Want You To Know About The “Next Big Pandemic” by Dr. Joseph Mercola and investigative reporter Pam Killeen published in 2006. Here are some highlights: Chapter 2 – Sensation Sells, How and Why the Media Deceives You about the Bird Flu; Chapter 3 – Bird Jails, Corporate Agribusiness and the Real Source of Bird-Borne Illness; Chapter 4 – Shifting the Blame, How the Big Poultry Companies Make Money from the Bird Flu Scare; Chapter 5 – Follow the Money, How the Drug Companies are Profiting from Fear. Does this playbook sound familiar?

  2. About the bird flu—I happily feed my feathered friends. They happily hang out with my chickens, who are well cared for, happy, and healthy. The only little bodies I ever pick up are from hawks…. As usual, the latest governmental lamentation is a far cry from my reality.
